Here in Gallery 3 we are showing the work that will be exhibited as part of the Liverpool Biennial/Independents. The work by Susan is oil on hammerite backgrounds which are very mettalic.

Unfinished portrait [jigsaw]

Painted in acrylic on canvas in July and August 2010. 60cms x 60cms. Unframed - painted on deep canvas. The idea is that the portrait is unfinished because some of the jigsaw pieces are missing. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but painting all those jigsaw pieces took ages.
